The Dillon Skatepark is one of the most unique parks in Montana. According to a mom we spoke with, it was completed with a lot of donated time and materials including the metal fullpipe that forms the foundation of the racetrack. The park isn’t finshed quite as nice as some of the other new parks around Montana but the rawness of it gives it a character all it’s own. The majority of the park is dedicated to the racetrack design with a wide variety of different transitions and little features that, after skating for one day, we had just begun to explore.

The street section is small but essential as most of the kids we met at this park really had no idea where to start. It provided a good place for them to get it figured out. It was also pretty fun to skate as you can hit one of four mini ramp sections and skate the pyramid from any angle.

One major issue with this park is that after one week of being “open” the entire park was covered in about 10 years worth of graffiti including a large swastika painted right in the middle of the bowl. Hopefully the community if Dillon can take care of this, as no one wants to brag about visiting the Nazi bowl.
